2.Who can be the Users of Skill Serve?

Primarily this portal is meant for following segments:-

3.How does a Fresher candidate who passes from Skill Center, ITI, School and College get benefited from Skill Serve?

• They have to register themselves through Register button in selective category.
• Apply Suitable job through portal only
• Get Skill Development training through portal only

4.How will an experienced person get benefitted from Skill Serve?

• • There are two way to use this portal for experienced people.
  1. Revenue Generation

  Experienced person has to register as Trainer, after approval from our office your profile will get approved. Any Registered Trainer can develop their training video, Skill Serve will take this video to public and revenue will be shared to the trainers.

  1. Up Skill Training

  Anyone can take Upskill training through this portal.

5.What is the process to enroll in training program on Skill Serve?

1^st – Register yourself under Registration section

2^nd Visit to courses Section and buy course.

6.How I can get a Job from Skill Serve?

You have to register under registration icon and apply for openings

7.What is the difference between Apprentice and Internship?

1) Apprenticeship is a training program formulated and managed by Govt. of India, conducted in an industry where the trainee gets a chance to learn and earn at the same time. An internship is a system of training usually part of an education curriculum which a student is pursuing, in which the trainee gets an opportunity to learn necessary skills and knowledge.

2) Apprenticeship is a work based training, whereas internship is a work based learning.

3) Apprenticeship training is provided to prospective employees, but the internship training is provided to  

    Students still pursuing studies.

4) Apprenticeship training is always paid, unlike Internship which may or may not be paid.

8.What is an Apprenticeship?

An Apprenticeship is a program instituted by the Govt. Of India under enactment of The Apprentice Act, 1961 with the objective of providing training to students to become skilled in a particular trade. Apprenticeships combine hands-on work with theoretical learning to train the apprentice.

9.How can Industries get candidate/apprentice from Skill Serve?

Industries have to register under “Register with Us” icon. After approval from our office team , Industries will post their Job which will be visible to registered candidate , interested candidates can apply for their selected Job which will be visible to Industries under their tab.

10.How to register as Mentor/Trainer on Skill Serve?

Anyone who want to become a trainer need to register under “Register with Us” icon, select ‘ Register as Trainer’ from the Drop down Menu or send a query in Enquiry section. Our team will contact you and after getting approval, your profile will be visible under list of Trainer / Mentor section.

11.How Skill Serve is helpful for working professionals in terms of boosting their income.

Skill Serve is a platform which provides opportunity to everyone to make and upload video on the topic of their expertise.Skill Serve will share the revenue with the trainer/SME - Subject Matter Expert.

13.Which Services does Skill Serve offer to Industries?

Skill Serve has brought several services required by Corporate HR Dept. at your fingertips. These Services are available from the Corporate Users Tab in the Header section. Skill Assessment is one of them. You can select the specific Service from the Drop Down Menu and send us your requirements using the Enquiry Form available.

The HR Depts. in Industries have to do periodical Skill Assessment of Workers as part of the Industry’s Quality Improvement programs. Based on the Assessment Results, future Training Calendar is required to be drawn up for the workers’ further Trainings required to bring about Quality improvement. At present, this is a manual process which is tedious with many loopholes. Skill Serve offers a fully Digital Assessment process which can generate various types of Reports identifying specific Skill Gaps of individual workers so that HR Managers can prepare a more targeted and scientific Training Calendar.

13.Which Services does Skill Serve offer to Industries?

b) Online/ Hybrid Training for Employees:

Industry HR Managers can contact us for the various types of Trainings required for Employees which Skill Serve can deliver in Online/Offline or combination of both. Skill Serve’s parent Company, Amass Skill Ventures Pvt. Ltd, a Skill Training partner of NSDC (Govt. of India) for almost a decade, has an In-house Skill Centre providing Hands-on-Training on CNC/VMC machines where production of various types of parts for Automotive industry are already running, providing an unique environment for Hands-on, practical Up-skilling, Re-skilling trainings can be provided.

c) Process Digitization & Dojo Set Up

Amass Skill Ventures (P) Ltd, the parent company of Skill Serve has executed several projects where Production processes are digitized and used for Fresher and New Joiners’ Induction Training which has saved money and time for the Company. Skill Serve can now offer such services and also deliver the Trainings Online. Apart from this, Skill Serve can also set up “Dojo Centres” at the Industry premises with simulated models for better understanding and retention of Training topics among Trainees, as already done for some Clients.
